The ACA program registration involves a three-year validation cycle. To initially join the ACA, producers can choose between using a self-declaration or undergoing a full, on-site validation.
For producers that begin their registration cycle with a self-declaration, a full-validation must be completed at their next scheduled full validation for the CQA program.
For all producers, following their first full-validation, the registration renewal cycle follows a standard three-year cycle with one full validation year followed by two self-declaration years.
For efficiency, the ACA full validation is intended to be done in the same year as the CQA full validation.
