MONTREAL: So, there’s some pretty shocking news coming out of Montreal. A judge has given the green light for a class-action lawsuit against Robert Miller, a billionaire and founder of Future Electronics. He’s facing some serious allegations about paying minors for sex, which is just awful.

The judge, Justice Catherine Piché, said the lawsuit can move forward. It’s brought by three plaintiffs who are going after Miller, his company, and some of his associates. The claims involve girls aged 11 to 17, and the alleged incidents happened between 1994 and 2006. That’s a long time for this kind of behavior to go unchecked.

Miller, who’s now 81 and dealing with Parkinson’s disease, has denied all the allegations. He thinks the women should sue him individually instead of as a group. On top of this class action, he’s also facing 24 criminal charges, including sexual assault and enticing someone to commit prostitution. It’s a pretty heavy situation, and it’s clear this is just the beginning of a long legal battle.
